Eligibility

To be eligible for AMVETS funded training, the applicant must:

  • Demonstrate veteran has no remaining educational benefits from the GI Bill or the Post9/11 GI Bill that could be used for educational course work.
  • Requires taking a career assessment test to validate the veterans propensity for success in a given career field.
  • Requires taking an online test to determine if veteran fits the profile measuring the probability of success with online course work.

Each potential student will take the Learning Style Analysis prior to a decision by AMVETS to select the applicant for the on-line courses. The LSA will provide each potential student with critical information on their individual learning and working styles that will enable them to maximize the learning experience.

In addition, the LSA will provide an objective assessment of each student’s potential for on-line training. In cases where students are at risk for not completing on-line training, these obstacles can be addressed or they can be tracked to more traditional Instructor Led Training (ILT) in a classroom or blended learning environment.

If you were enrolled for an LSA or WSA by AMVETS you can complete the assessment by selecting the icon below and follow the link to enter your password and begin.
